Association "A Bonne Ecole" - The good school
II. "SEKOLY A BONNE ECOLE" nursery school activity centre
1. Description
The first actual activity started after inquiry in Androhibe, Andrianaley and Ambatomitsangana in August 2001. 60 children were selected.
The children are divided up into three classes: Age of 3 -5 years (average department), age of 5 -6 years (large department), 6 -12 years (large department). The year 2001 to 2002 was for the Alphabetisation-class a transition year.
1. a) The average department
30 children between 3 and 5 years.
They study daily from 8:00 h to 15:00 h, apart from Wednesdays. After lunch midday-closing is announced. On Wednesday is study only in the mornings.
At the end of the school year the children can count from 1 to 10, dance and sing many songs.
1. b) The large department
30 children between 6 and 12 years.
Like the average department class they do study daily from 8:00 h to15:00 h, apart from Wednesdays, too? After lunch there is midday-closing. Because of the political unrest, lessons which are made up now in the Wednesday afternoon, was cancelled.
apart from the daily subjects the children making exercises to hearing understanding in the library, doing sports and learning to dance .
2. Aims
Short-term:
- Protection from child labour
- Acclimatisation of the children to the school and her surroundings
- Relief of the mothers who can have time for other or work
Medium-term:
- a good medical support of the child is guaranteed
- a balanced diet of the child
- a good support of the child
- Education and instruction of the child and motivation for the state school which starts with 6 years
- a thorough education by a not state organisation
