Roundtrip adventure
1st day: journey to Paris
Separate journey from your place of residence to Airport CDG Paris. It’s possible to start the journey from several airports in Germany to Paris. Please enquire.
2nd day: Arrival at Antananarivo
Arrival at Ivato Airport at 3 p.m. Check-out, service and transfer to the Hotel Bellevue or equivalent, bed and breakfast. Short explanations of the roundtrip.
3rd day: Antananarivo-City
Visit of the zoological-botanical garden of Tsimbazaza in the afternoon. We get a first impression of the fauna and flora of Madagascar. Drive to the Kings’ Hill of Antsahadinta. We walk on the romantic road through wooded nature reserve. The museum at the Kings’ Hill is run by relatives of the kings’ family. Hotel Bellevue or equivalent, bed and breakfast.
4th day: Anantanarivo - Diego Suarez
Transfer and flight to Diego Suarez located in the north. Drive to the Hotel Kings’ Lodge or equivalent. We pass the little sugar hut. It is a trendy and unusual place. Bed and breakfast.
5th day: National reserve Montagne d’Ambre
Excursion to the national reserve of Montagne d’Ambre. To Kings’ Logde back in the afternoon. Bed, lunch, breakfast.
6th day: Diego Suarez - Antananarivo
Flight to Tana, transfer to the Hotel Bellevue or equivalent, bed and breakfast. If we have enough time we can also visit to the Kings’ hill of Amohimanga with its old palisade fort.
7th day: Antananarivo - National reserve Ranomafana
We start the long and arduous trip to Ranomafana, the famous national park. Bed and breakfast, bungalow on the nature reserve or equivalent.
8th day: National reserve Ranomafana - Fianarantsoa
Visit to the national reserve of Ranomafana and the hot springs. Towards the evening, drive to Fianarantsoa. Bed and breakfast, Hotel Soafia or equivalent.
9th day: Fianarantsoa - Ranohira
Passing the Andringitra mountain chain and across the Horombre-plateau our journey goes to Ranohira. On the way there’s a visit to the factory making the famous Antaimoro paper. Bed and breakfast, Hotel Joyau de lIsalo or equivalent.
10th day: Anakao
Early in the morning we take a motorized dug-out across the sea to Anakao. We stop off for a bit of swimming. Basic bed and breakfast in bungalows by the sea.. Vezo safari, bed and breakfast, or equivalent.
11th day: Anakao, Nosy Ve
Trip to the island of Nosy Ve with a small picnic. Snorkelling is also worth trying. There is more to see here than at any other place in the Indian Ocean.. Vezo safari, bed and breakfast, or equivalent.
12th day: Anakao - Tulear
Boat trips takes us past St. Augusting and the caves of Sarodrano to Tulear.. Thereafter we travel to the famous arboretum and visit the collection of trees from Madagascar’s south. Hotel Palletuvier, bed and breakfast, or equivalent.
13th day: Tulear - Antananarivo
Depending on flight time, transfer and flight to Tana.. Transfer to Hotel Gregoire, bed and breakfast or equivalent.
14th day: Antananarivo - Andasibe
From Tana the journey continues to through the mist-capped rain forest to Andasibe and into the famous lemur reserve of Perinet. Excursion by night. Bed and breakfast in Feon'ny bungalows or equivalent.
15th day: Perinet-Reservat: Andasibe - Antananarivo
Early morning walk into the territories of the indris, the largest lemurs living.. Return journey to Antananarivo via Marzevo. We pay a visit to the private reptiles farm at Peyreiras in Marozevo. This is where the world’s largest butterfly is kept and bred. Transfer to Hotel Gregoire, bed and breakfast, or equivalent.
16th day: Antananarivo Rückflug
On our last morning in Madagascar we visit the capital once more and the famous arts and handicraft market "Marche de Artisanat". Perhaps it is time to buy the last few souvenirs to round off the trip.. In the afternoon there is the transfer to Ivato airport and then the return flight to Paris.
17th day: Ankunft in Paris
Morning arrival at CDG-airport Paris. Travellers then make their separate journeys home.
